The Golf Course
Designed in 1927 by renowned Pacific Northwest architect A. V. Macan, Broadmoor’s course winds gracefully between Lake Washington, the Washington Park Arboretum, and the Broadmoor neighborhood. Towering Douglas firs frame each hole, creating a tranquil setting that feels far removed from the nearby city.
The course’s natural contours provide variety and challenge for golfers of all abilities, while its traditional parkland layout, where greens flow naturally into the next tees, makes for an enjoyable walk. The greens are true and subtly contoured, rewarding thoughtful shot-making and precision on every round.
Broadmoor’s practice facilities include a full driving range, dedicated short-game areas for chipping and bunker play, and an expansive putting green. Under the direction of Chief of Agronomy Sean McDonough, the course is maintained in immaculate condition year-round.
The Club’s mission reflects its commitment to delivering a premier golf experience in the Pacific Northwest—one that honors classic design while offering fresh challenges to golfers every day.
