About the Championship
Each year the USGA hosts 15 National Championships attracting the world's best players to compete on the game's greatest courses. On September 21-26, 2024, Broadmoor Golf Club is proud to host the 62nd USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship (SWA), one of the 15 exciting championships of the 2024 year, where 132 of the best senior amateur women golfers in the nations will be put to a challenging test.Broadmoor's History of supporting amateur golf at the highest level
Broadmoor has a storied history of hosting USGA Championships including the 1961 U.S. Girl's Junior, the 1974 U.S. Women's Amateur, the 1984 U.S. Women's Amateur, and the 1996 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur. This championship puts the fifth jewel in our crown as Broadmoor celebrates our 100th year anniversary.
Ways to Support
Hosting a USGA championship takes hundreds of volunteers, thousands of hours of planning and preparation and significant financial resources. Broadmoor Golf Club is determined to make the 2024 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur truly remarkable and thrilling amateur championship, setting new standards in the Pacific Northwest. We are so excited to welcome the USGA and 132 of the world’s top senior amateur players back to Broadmoor Golf Club and the beautiful city of Seattle. We will need 175 dedicated individuals to support our volunteer program for this championship. We look forward to providing each volunteer with a unique and memorable experience!
